Initiative for Law and Society
We are a youth-driven platform that turns conversations on public policy and human rights into real-world impact through advocacy, education, and pro bono legal support.
The I-LAS Volunteer Program turns awareness into action. Our student volunteers work alongside lawyers, NGOs, and community partners to expand legal access for marginalized groups — from the Deaf community and migrant workers to women facing gender-based violence. Through direct support, education, and advocacy, we aim to make justice more inclusive and reachable for all.
I-LAS Seminars discuss a wide range of public policies and social issues, and turn conversation into action. We bring scholars, advocates, and students together to learn from multiple perspectives, raise awareness, deepen understanding, and spark collaborations that lead to real-world impact. Join us to think critically, ask better questions, and stay informed.
I-LAS’s thought-provoking debate series dive into a wide range of social topics to spark meaningful dialogue and fresh perspectives. Through respectful, dynamic debates, we aim to unravel complex issues and encourage critical thinking. Each session offers a chance to question assumptions, learn from others, and engage with pressing social challenges.
